Native Flat of Bedřich Smetana
Bedřich Smetana was born in 1824 on the ground floor of former castle brewery and now you can find here an exposition commemorating composer's childhood in Litomyšl. It tries to draw the visitor nearer to the atmosphere of one-time household of the Smetanas, their family life and all related events and one part presents also their reflections in Smetana's work. Other Smetana's "homes" are presented in their basic features too (Jindřichův Hradec, Růžkovy Lhotce, Pilsen, Prague, Swedish Göteborg, Jabkenice).
